It SUCKED and you still had to pay for wireles. I personally like the Mariott chain... nice and moderate which is how I like most things in my life.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9174721864572618040.post-64339837396880256002007-08-25T09:58:00.000-05:002007-08-25T09:58:00.000-05:00"GIVE ME AN O!!!"hey, that would work for the Tues..."GIVE ME AN O!!!"

hey, that would work for the Tuesday post name contest too. Yeah, there are times when thick walls are d...LOL! Yeah, there are times when thick walls are definitely worth the extra $$/night. :D

And it's funny (in an annoying, eyerolling, wanna choke something way) how the most expensive hotels always want to charge you for internet ($10/day seems about average) while the little cheap motels squatting by the side of the highway have free wireless. [eyeroll]

You see the same sort of weirdness when you're cruising, too. (Maybe it's the hospitality industry in general?) Carnival, the cheapest of the major cruise lines and pretty much the "budget" choice of the lot, gives you a wide selection of free drinks 24/7; the only things you pay extra for are carbonated drinks and alcohol. My husband and I started sailing with Princess (nowhere near the top but definitely upscale compared with Carnival) a couple of years ago, and it's really annoying that when we're paying a couple thousand extra for a cruise compared with what Carnival would charge for the same thing, they're holding out their hand for an extra two or three dollars whenever I want a hot chocolate or a glass of apple juice. WTF? :/ It sounds like a few people in Marketing are working for the wrong companies, seriously.

Hope you're having a good time anyway. :)

AngieAngiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11920578701763415331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9174721864572618040.post-33050622529740640972007-08-25T08:54:00.000-05:002007-08-25T08:54:00.000-05:00Oops...sorry didn't mean to bother anyone in the n...Oops...sorry didn't mean to bother anyone in the next room - I was just practicing my audition! ;p

Don't you just love the people who stay in hotels and think they are the ONLY ones there, and they can, like, trash the whole place and make noises because they don't have to clean it up.
