Nearly Wordless Wednesday

Once again I'm devoting my creative endeavors to my work in progress so here are some pictures from our Disney trip back over New Years. I meant to post them then, but of course life kind of took an alternate route the day after we got back from Florida.

My youngest, along with two goofy dudes.

The Genie's might be longer but mine is thicker ... goatee's that is.

My oldest, the ladies man,
chatting up Alice.

At first look, the above shot looks like a panty crotch shot of some gal. It even appears to read ..
Ho A Pirate's Life

But actually it's just a tighter shot of this sign above the entrance to the Pirates of The Caribbean ride.

My oldest watching the Christmas parade. Am I the only one who finds those reindeer's tails rather obscene?

Psst, 2 more days until we gain possession of our new house. Not that I'm eager or anything.

  4. Here I live 10 minutes away from Disneyland, CA and never realized how perverted the place really is. Glad to see you've found some cover art for your pirate romance book. Those are great pictures.

Congratulations on getting your new home. Can't wait to see the pictures.

I'm glad you had a great time. And yes, that does look like a panty shot.

  7. Great about the house. re disneyland: Did you find the answer to the question from STAND BY ME? What's Goofy?

  8. RE the house---FANTASTIC NEWS! my favorite picture here is the "panty" shot--so funny because I thought that too just before I scrolled down to see the real thing.

  11. Weird, do they just do Christmas parades all year long there? I didn't realize that.

And no, you're not the only one who finds those reindeer tails perverted. Maybe that's why they don't walk around on their hind legs.

  12. Never mind, just reread the first sentence. Didn't realize that was from New Year's time...

  13. When we went to Disney I was 7 months pregnant with my youngest and my oldest was mad the whole time because I couldn't ride anything with her. It really could have been a better time! Anyway. Thanks for the comment on the statement. I haven't written one in so long. My show is up for the month of April. Come and see! I have some ideas about the kids pirate flag. I think I might get started on it right after the wedding!

  14. Actually, I was having more trouble with the photo of the Alice character chatting up your son.

She looks a bit hard bitten by life, almost as if Disney is recruiting laid off pole dancers.

  15. Love the pics Travis. And I am really excited that you get your new house in two days!

  17. Your “A Pirate’s Life” shot? Wow, you’ve got a good eye for detail with a camera!
All best wishes on your moving day – of course you’re eager and rightfully so!

  18. I'm excited for your house, and the captions are as good as the photos!

Note to Alex: As a former theme park employee, let me assure you they skim the cream of the nubile cuties for the character positions. It's a plum requiring reserves of charm and patience I don't possess, and they make them up to look more cartoon-y. You're probably sensing a moment of dehydrated heat exhaustion from the costume and wigs. Hard-bitten pole dancer, really! I'm harrumphing at you, you cynic.

  19. did you ever get another disney shirt??

  20. Doesn't Alex know there is a Disney Code (or some such thing :-)

Yeah, those reindeer outfits ARE obscene!

  24. I had no idea Goofy was that freaking big. It's a wonder kids don't run from him.

And yes! I thought it WAS some type of crotch shot!

And those deer butts? Uh, yea. Must be some costume designers of a joke! And it's kinda funny.

I can't wait to see pic's of the enw house! Your ARE going to post some, right? Don't worry, I promise not to come stalk you.
