This Proves It

I find these pictures rather disturbing, but some of you veggie lovers may feel differently.

THE DEVIL IN A NEW FORM

NOT EVEN BATMAN WOULD WANT TO TANGLE WITH THESE EVIL PENGUINS

THIS PROVES IT - AN IDLE MIND DOES PAVE THE WAY FOR WICKED THOUGHTS

COME ON ADMIT IT - THAT ORANGE SCARES YOU JUST A BIT, DOESN'T IT.

If I don't sleep tonight it may be because of nightmares of evil fruits and veggie coming alive and taking over the world. If any of you know the identity of the disciple responsible for these heinous creations let me now.

I don't mind the vegetables. But what REALLY creeps me out are Anne Geddes' photographs of babies dressed as flowers or bugs or vegetables.

The orange is scary, but those penguins?!? With pointy little beaks...I may never eat egg plant again!!

Who has the time to create all those?

California raisins. Need I say more?

Travis,

These are great! And I am guessing they are not encouraging a carnivore such as yourself to eat the very fruits and veggies that will be the cause of so many nightmares.

As for me, my contribution to Thanksgiving dinner is a big veggie casserole. (It almost pains me to type those words on your blog.)

Ingredient number one is ~TA DA~ eggplant! I'm going to be very, very careful pealing and slicing those suckers.

Travis, how many cold meds are you taking? I think you need to back away from the vegetable bin and knives. :)

Hope you're feeling better soon.

Shauna - You are right those pics are creepy, but I am scared of vegetables on the whole.

Sherry - I don't know why God invented Egg Plants but I'm pretty sure He never intended them to be eaten by humans.

Angel - Someone under control of an evil master.

Stephen - I heard it through the grapevine that you are now trailing in Tena's contest. She was trying to blame me for your absence after my Tonya HArding comment.

Terrie - I wouldn't even let you in the door with a veggie casserole.

Danette - Being new here you might not know I cringe at the mere thought of eating a vegetable, so seeing them romp and play scares me greatly.

Pretzel - I've taken everything but nothing has helped. I haven't resorted to playing with veggies however.

Veggies disguised as meat products! This should make them easier to eat. For me at least.

Would these be more palatable if placed next to cartoon meat covered in dancing salmonella?
:-)
Just curious....

Our household is pretty much vegetarian, because the kids refuse to eat anything with a face.
Geez! Maybe I should show them these pictures.....

I love this book! My kids have it and think it's a riot!

Predatorial veggies!
Great way to get kids to eat them.

Those are, uh, weird, to say the least. I'm not well associated with the vegetable family and it took me until reading the comments to realize what those penguins actually were.

Travis,

As you requested, Tama posted Johan's pumpkin soup recipe in the comments section of her blog post "Six Kinds of Take Out" on the women of mystery blog. I emailed it to you.

Happy Thanksgiving!
