My Town Monday can be found in the post just below this announcement.
Due to the holidays and other demands of my time I am suspending My Town Mondays until January. Unless, someone else wants to volunteer to gather and host all the links. If so let me know and I'll get the word out. I will still be blogging but I do not want any commitments for the next month. Hope this doesn't inconvenience those of you who participate.
If no one takes over for the month I will bring the weekly feature back on January 5th.

Enjoy your time "off" and have a blessed month!
Hey Travi. I'm not volunteering---I'll be glad to take a break, too (although I'll be blogging, too---especially about Cups of Kindness and Christmas in Peninsula and my daughter coming home again)
hope part of that time is for r&r :D
'Tis the season...to change all KINDS of schedules! Wish I could volunteer, but I'm pretty swamped, too. At least, by the time things start up again, I should probably have something to contribute to the cause.
December is very busy, so I can totally understand. I've always loved reading your My Town Mondays.
Sounds like a sound idea - hope you find time to do all you have planned!

Aw, Travis, we could all do with a few weeks off, You have my permission to dedicate yourself to your wife and family, have fun. (glad to have a big of space to look up a few more interesting facts) I will still read your blog, MTM or not, I love your style!!
I too will enjoy a break as I need to complete my other writing assignments. See you in January for the continuation of MTM.
Good idea Travis and I will be ready to go in Jan. Hope your holidays are off to a good start.
Enjoy your extra time! Gotta love the holidays :) Good luck getting everything done :)
The Friday thing about takes up all my time. I may do a few on my own though. Any chance of getting a pic of you reading as a Christmas present?
Hi Travis,
I think a break is an excellent idea and no one deserves it more than you. I have two stories in the pipeline and am pushing the Toys For Tots Anthology so can't volunteer to help out. Still, I am glad that you are taking a break and not giving it up entirely.
Everyone loves MTM and we can all gear up again for January. Thank you for starting this and for keeping it going.
Terrie
I think that's a wise decision, Travis. I'd volunteer, but I have books to judge, a story to finish and a bad back, so I'm not sure how much blogging I'll be doing anyway. Hope December at the post office isn't too awful. I bet you all probably say "Bah, humbug" a lot. My dad did when he worked for a retail chain. Take care,
Linda
Hi Travis,
Have a great month and try to leave the stress at the office...
I am leaving for a week in Cambodia in a couple of hours, which might make next Monday a tad difficult to update..it might come out more on Tuesday or Wednesday...
Otherwise though, I would be happy to give it a whirl and maintain the continuity for you... although maybe it looks like everybody wants a break...
Let me know.
Tschuess, Chris
Travis, let Chris (aka another name) have it if you'd like, but I could step in if needed. Although you are right, I do eat lettuce and that might disqualify me.
Hi Travis, so what's the verdict? I may still write one for this coming Monday, as it wrote itself in my head already. It seems several would like the break. I'd be willing to host those that want to keep going - but Chris volunteered first. I believe he's in Cambodia right now, but maybe you've heard from him? It's your baby, so if you want just to let it rest, that's fine.
Hi Travis,
I am just checking in from an internet cafe in Phnom Penh...
I will check in again tomorrow...
Would you like me or the exceedingly talented Junosmom to keep MTM alive over December for those of us who will still be publishing... or not? I will check in tomorrow night and am prepared to host links if you would like me to.
Cheers,
Sepiru Chris
Oh, Chris, I thought you were incommunicado, leaving as you did so abruptly for far flung lands. Travis, Chris can do it if you plan to continue.
