Whenever Kindness Fails

It's highly unlikely that the person who broke into my pickup Friday night is a reader of this blog, or will ever stumble upon it. About as unlikely as it is that they enjoyed any of the CD's they stole. But on the off chance I just wanna say, "Hey Dude or Dudette. Among all those Robert Earl Keen CD's you absconded from my center console there is one titled A Bigger Piece of Sky. On it you will find a track title Whenever Kindness Fails. Give it a listen before you go and pawn all my CD's, my phone charger, and my 9 year old son's Nintendo DS. Listen very carefully and know it is my new motto for thieving bastards like yourself."

Heck, I'll even make it easy for you and include the song here on this post.

And I hope you bought something really good with the four bucks my 7 year old earned from his grandma by scoring four goals in his last two soccer games.

Yep ... only when kindness fails.

If only it would get through to them instead of making them laugh. Man, it sickens you.

Ugh.. sorry to hear it. We had a similar thing happen to us recently. There were three gifted bottles of Cuban rum missing by morning. They left the CDs though.

Oh no.

I am so sorry. Oh your poor sons - awful, awful, awful.

:-(

I cling to the notion that what goes round, comes round.

I am truly sorry especially for your boys.

Take care

We've been there - nothing is more infuriating and nothing leaves you feeling more powerless. The PD doesn't care.

Oh dear. Remind me never to cross you, Travis.

Oh man, that stinks, Travis.

Karma, dude. It'll come back to bite whoever did this.

I'm sorry this happened to you, Travis. I've been lucky so far, but I know I'd be just as upset if somebody broke into my truck.

Dang it all...sorry about that friend.

Man, that stinks. My husband's vehicle was stolen once and they took the speakers, CDs, and a bunch of other stuff. We finally got it back, but soon sold it. It was an eery feeling to drive in it knowing someone else had been rifling through our stuff.

That's awful, Travis. Bad enough for you, but even worse for your boys. So sorry.

I'm sorry Travis. It burns me up to hear this.

We've been having a huge rash of burglaries in our neighborhoods. Our corner neighbor had her car smashed and the air bags stolen! It kills you to know that you work hard and other people think they can just go and steal whatever they want. But karma will come back to them in the end.
