Lettuce Avoid Sin

Longtime readers of this blog know I am a carnivore. They also know my personal motto is ... Lettuce is The Devil.

Blogger tells me this is my 666th post so what better time to offer photographic evidence to support my ideals in the form of the 7 Deadly Sins.

LUST

GLUTTONY

GREED

Okay so he's eating money not lettuce. But green is green I say.

WRATH

SLOTH

ENVY

A clear case of carrot envy if I've ever seen it.

PRIDE

Well, I suppose his momma is proud.

I would ask where on earth you found those pictures, but I really don't want to know the answer.

Although, the gluttony one made me giggle. And I love Pam's bikini top. But the rest were just disturbing.

Totally screwed up on my last comment! I think the carrots had me laughing too hard. :)
I so want some brussel sprouts, now!

Hilarious! But the slothful veggie guy needs a strategically placed zucchini. And a couple of kiwi fruit.

I'm going to write up a patent application this afternoon for a new contraceptive for men who love meat: cabbage clothes.

A friend of mine, an avid hunter, has this shirt that says, "Vegetables are not food, they are the food that food eats." I love that shirt.

Congrats on the 666th post.

Is this a food post or a religion post? Either way, it made me giggle, so now I have to explain it to the third-grader. Or distract her with a promise to loosen the parental controls on her computer....

The carrot photo is wrong six ways to Sunday.

And although I have not heard of any specific instance, I feel certain that someone has sighted the Blessed Virgin in a head of lettuce somewhere. If she shows up in oil stains on garage floors, paint spatters on graffiti, and mysterious rock formations she's bound to turn up in vegetation.

You are a scary man, Travis. Scary.

I'm going to have nightmares for weeks after seeing those pictures. And I may never eat a vegetable again. ARGH. You just killed my dream of becoming a vegetarian.

Gluttony is adorable, but I gotta say Envy is my favourite - lol

Where ever did you find those? I might point out that at least one features brussel sprouts, which is one vegetable that I would join you in lamenting its existence. Nasty.

Go and sin no more, my son. (For your penance, eat a gigantor burger with a teeny tiny piece of lettuce under the pickle.)

I have never seen photos like those!!!
