Messing Around

created at TagCrowd.com

Just playing around with word clouds. The one from above is taken from my recently completed novel, Plundered Booty's, introduction.

And this one comes from the last chapter.

And since I'm just screwing around today here is a cell phone snapshot of my highly nutritional lunch.

A handful of pills for my bout with poison ivy, a package of chocolate donuts, and a good Ol' DP to wash it all down. Yum.

That doesn't look like a lunch so much as an intervention waiting to happen.

Off to check out that tag cloud thing.

Those word clouds are very cool! Do you just pick words to put on there or does some program do it randomly?

And uh, lunch? Hmmmmm..

Your old enough. I'm not saying nothing!

Wow, switch the DP to Diet Pepsi and you've just covered what I ate for breakfast for years.

Well, you have maybe a few food groups there...hehehe.

Is that the lunch of champions??

if you would just put M & M s in that dr pepper, you could delete those donuts and get the same effect....

OMG Travis...is THAT how you maintain your girlish figure? Where is your meatasaurs pride for crying out loud?!

Did you get my "fish story"? I thought of you and couldn't resist. You love to fish and hunt so maybe coastal california is the place for you! Wild.

Dammit, Travis! I'm trying to eat healthily and you go and post food p*rn on your blog. I LOVE those chocolate wax donuts.

(That word thing is cool. What a neat idea!)

Your lunch makes my lunch (a PBJ sandwich) look like it belongs right up there on the Canada Food Guide.
I feel so virtuous (although not much healthier).

Donuts & Dr. Pepper? Isn't that, like, the breakfast of champions or something? If it's not, it SHOULD be. ;) *L*

Fortunately, recent scientific studies indicate that chocolate may increase life expectancy.

The fact that the studies were funded entirely by The Hershey Company is essentially irrelevant to most of us.

I like that word cloud thingy!

I had a fantastic steak, bean, and cheese burrito from Baja Fresh for lunch. Yum-OH!

Wow, that takes me back. Every morning my senior year of high school I had a six-pack of chocolate gems and a can of Dr Pepper. Good times. :)

WHAT? NO MEAT?!? For shame Travis.

I just found out that I might have "gout" - a form of arthritis. So I get to take some pills that make me loopy, nauseated, and possible bleeding from places you shouldn't. Oh, and it can cause a FATAL HEART ATTACK OR STROKE! (Yep, they capped it on the instructions.) Oh joy.

I love word clouds. They are soothing.

Breakfast of Champions indeed. As for me, I'm a fruit and coffee kind of girl.

Well if you have poison ivy then that lunch can be excused. I cannot remember the last time I had a good lunch like that. :o)~

You ought to start bringing "rabbit" food to work, Travis: lettuce, celery and carrots. That will make you feel full, and by the end of the week you won't be having those sugar cravings. Very bad for you.

The word associations for your book look interesting Who is fiona? Are your readers allowed to know?

I was all into the pills until I realized they were not FUN pills. :)
Your book looks lovely!
(I have to take pills, too, if I get poison ivy. Actually, I had it SO BAD one year - wait that was poison oak - anyway, that I swear I am now immune to it. And before that immunity, I would swell like a balloon and it would spread everywhere in nanoseconds.
I feel for ya, Travis.)

Looking forward to reading your book. I'm sure it has more substance than your "lunch".

Lunch? Where's the beef?

I suppose your lunch is not as bad as the vodka and oreos I ate for breakfast one Sunday morning many years ago.

Ha! What a lunch! I myself exist on rice cakes and Monster when deep in a manuscript.

BTW, Travis, you are a winner of Violet Raines! Come on over for details!

Charles Gramlich said...

Wow, that lunch will really keep meat on the old bones.

Hi Travis,

The pills--I'll skip and take my own brand of medicinal crap. The chocolate covered donuts are probably not on my meager diet list. The Dr Pepper is right up my alley--10, 2 and 4.
