Do me a favor. Vote for my blogworld friend Lana Gramlich in this contest. Her photo (Number 5, the shot of the Louisiana swamp) has made it to the finals in this week's "My America" contest, held by Superstation WGN. Please vote for it here!
Now one last question regarding books and anticipation.
What one book would you most want to see written? Feel free to get crazy here by assigning a plot of subject matter for some long dead writer or making a current literary superstar jump genre.
I have two.
1) A satirical look at the modern world from Mark Twain.
2) The tale of a man addicted to Viagra by Ernest Hemingway
And yours?

Good ones!
I know this is not creative whatsoever, but I want my current WIP written, done and repped. Got it?
Okay, so if you could talk to the powers that be...
Whoa, that number two choice is one funny choice. If there was ever a man obsessed with his own masculinity, Ernie was it.
Have you read Twain's "Letters from the Earth?"
as they say, yo voted number 5
I have voted !!!
I will vote as soon as I am done here!
I like your 2nd idea for a book. That would be some..errrrr... interesting reading.
Off to vote now
Voted, good luck Lana
To Kill a Mockingbird II -- Boo Radley's Revenge?
Going vote for the home girl now!
Thanks for plugging Lana's pic.
as for the title, let's see:
How about: Jesus: in his own words.
That's interesting that the Viagra one got attention. Because I liked the Mark Twain one, myself. I guess that just goes to show how strange I am. :-) I've even written a couple of Twainian-style sketches and have ideas for more. (One of these days, i'll post a sketch on Boston drivers.)

I voted for Lana's pic, too (go, go swamp lovers!)
Now that flight is commonplace and computers and cell phones and modern medicine and space travel,
I'd like to know what a visionary, futuristic novel by Jules Verne would read like if written today.
Something new by Thomas Paine would be good. Also commentary by Thomas Jefferson or Thoreau. Would love, love, love to read their takes on our modern world.
I'll go vote now.
Everytime I try to vote, I just get auto insurance info.
I voted.
Nice choices of what you'd like to see.
I'm drawing a blank this morning though, sorry. I'll get back to ya.
A book all about my greatness HAHA what can I say I am shallow and superficial :) haha I am only kidding, i'd have to think about this one
Lots of lovely photos there, good luck to Lana.
I like your choices and that of Clare2e. Unfortunately I haven't an original thought in my head today, so will pass on making any suggestions.
Brain cannot come up with a book however, I did vote for Lana's picture.

Thanks so much for the link, hon. I appreciate it. Sorry I've been absent lately--health stuff & whatnot. Hopefully I'll be back more normally soon.
